A detachable hollow metal handle (1) is fixed to a heat resistant container (2). A curved support is used to guide the thumb during gripping of the handle. The container is fixed to the food can by a clamping collar (3) which is positioned in a rabbet in the container. The handle which is fixed on connecting brackets (5) through two crimped grooves (7) can pivot around these grooves. And be folded down along the container.
