PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a droplet immobilization device for a measurement chip that can effectively immobilize a droplet with a low affinity with the surface of a measurement chip onto the surface. SOLUTION: In a droplet immobilization device to a measurement chip A, a dropped droplet P needs to be retained on a surface for a long time. A device 30 is provided with machine frames 34 and 35 and a stick 33 that is inclined and extended from the machine frame to the lower part, and the stick 33 can be dipped into the droplet P where the tip part is dropped when the droplet P is dropped into the measurement chip.
