FIELD: data displays. SUBSTANCE: display has liquid crystal layer between face and rear plates each of plates carrying one electrode and polarizer, as well as layer incorporating one dye such as that luminescent under effect of ultraviolet rays in the range of 400-700 nm or mixture of luminescent dye and absorbing dye. Angle of vision of such liquid-crystal displays is as large as up to 180 deg. due to more efficient utilization of radiation source spectrum including its ultraviolet range.
