PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new microorganism whose cell can produce a substance having antifungal activity and antibacterial activity, and useful as a medical antifungal agent, a microbicidal agent for agriculture and horticulture and the like by constituting from a microbial cell of Bacillus. SOLUTION: This microorganism comprises a microbial cell of Bacillus, and the microbial cell is a mutant of Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus subtilis Y01 (FERM P-16658). Further, it is preferable to prepare an antifungal and antibacterial culture composition having activity for inhibiting the growth of fungi and gram positive bacteria by culturing the microorganism. |
