The connection terminal housing is formed in 2 parts (4,5) which are joined together by a frame seal, with the plug and socket halves of a connector respectively associated with each of these parts. The housing parts have cooperating contact and counter-contact surfaces, which lie in flat contact with one another when housing parts are assembled. The cooperating contact and counter-contact surfaces may lie adjacent the seal on the inside of the housing.
