The heater (10) has a set of heating elements (13), and a temperature sensor (15) or reversible or non-reversible thermofusible element that measures temperature within a heater structure. The thermofusible element is located inside an electronic controller (12). The temperature sensor or the thermofusible element is provided at a central or downstream part of the set of heating elements. A communication unit (16) connects the sensor to the electronic controller. An independent claim is also included for a method for regulation of an electric heater.
