<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double-layer capacitor with improved breakdown voltage. SOLUTION: A positive pole is constituted of a carbon material which utilizes physical adsorption/desorption, a negative pole is constituted of a carbon material which includes an element M (M contains one of Al, Ba, Be, Ca, K, Mg, Mn, Na, V, or a rare earth element), and ion Mn+ (Mn+ contains one of Al3+, Ba2+, Be2+, Ca2+, K+, Mg2+, Mn2+, Na+, V2+, or a rare earth element ion), moreover with an electrolytic solution of an organic solvent and an electrolyte containing ion Mn+.</p> |
