<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater with a simplified piping arrangement serving as auxiliary hot water supply and water supply sources to a washing machine and the like. SOLUTION: There are provided hot water supply passages (water supply side pipe line 20, hot water supply side pipe line 22) for supplying hot water with a heat exchanger 18 provided thereon, hot water injection passages (injected hot water branch pipe 24 and injected hot water pipe 12) connected with a hot water supply side and a water supply side of the hot water supply passage, and control means (control unit 50) for controlling hot water injection or water injection for the hot water injection passage. Hot water is assured from the aforesaid hot water injection passage only for a predetermined time in response to a hot water injection starting instruction, and water injection is assured through the hot water injection passage after the lapse of the foregoing predetermined time, whereby simple hot water injection or water injection to a washing machine and the like is realized.</p> |
