METHOD OF COMBINED TREATMENT OF MALIGNANT TUMORS OF PAROTID GLAND WITH POSTOPERATIVE NEUTRON THERAPY

FIELD: medicine, particularly, oncology. SUBSTANCE: method includes operation for removal of tumor with resection of facial nerve trunk and its branches. Upon elapse of 7-10 days after operation and removal of sutures exposed to radiotherapy with 6.3 MeV fast neutrons is bed of removed tumor with single dose of 1.4-2.0 Gy and day doses of 8.0-11.0 Gy. Single dose is administered by two fractions a week. Photon-equivalent dose for 30-40 days is 40-45 Gy. EFFECT: higher efficiency of treatment. 1 tbl, 3 ex
