SOLUTION: A computer of a search center reads out inputted specific data on the searched person and sends out a search signal consisting of the call code of the finding support device 4 that the searched person carries and specific information. The finding support device 4 receives a sent-out radio signal by a beeper main body 42 and sends the specific information to an external device 44 through a connection line 45. The external device 44 receives this specific information by a communication IC 441 and converts the specific information to a signal for a melody and light emission IC 443 by a decoder C442 according to the specific information on, for example, the gender, age, height, etc., of the searched person. An amplifier 444 amplifies the signal, a sounding part 446 consisting of a speaker generates a sound, and a light emission part 447 consisting of a flash light, etc., makes an illumination display.
