<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power circuit of an electrical equipment, by which the power consumption of a stand-by power circuit is reduced and the power consumption of the electrical equipment under a stand-by state can be brought to zero. SOLUTION: When a power supply on key for a remote controller 12 is depressed, electromagnetic waves from the remote controller 12 are transmitted to an electrical equipment body and a switch circuit 23 or 43 as a first switch means is turned on. A load circuit such as a microcomputer 24, a photodetector 26, etc., required for stand-by operation is supplied with power from a stand-by power supply 22 or 41 first by depressing the power supply on key at that time, and a main power circuit 2 for the electrical equipment is operated on the basis of a first infrared signal transmitted from the remote controller 12. Since a period when the load circuit is fed with power from the stand-by power supply 22 or 41 is limited for a period transferring from stand-by operation to normal operation, the quantity of power supply of the stand-by power supply 22 or 41 may be reduced, and the stand-by power of the electrical equipment under a stand-by state can be brought to zero.</p> |
