PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyoxymethylene composition having excellent hue stability in a molten state and reduced in the formation of mold deposits during molding by mixing a polyoxymethylene with a sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant and a silane compound polymer in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: This composition comprises a polyoxymethylene, 0.01-5 wt.%, based on the polyoxymethylene, sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant, and 0.01-5 wt.%, based thereon, silane compound polymer containing at least one structural unit represented by formula I. In formula I, R1 is H or CH3; T2 is a 1-8C alkylene which may be interrupted by an ether bond; X1 to X3 are each a halogen, -R3, -OR4, or -OCR5; R3 to R5 are each a 1-4C alkyl which may be interrupted by an ether bond; Y is -COO- or a group of formula II; n is 5 or greater; and a and b are each 0 or 1. It is desirable that the silane compound polymer is one up to 50 mol % of which is constituted by replacement by another vinyl compound. The vinyl compound is desirably anα-olefin, methyl (meth)acrylate, vinyl acetate, acrylonitrile, styrene, or the like. |
