INTERMEDIATE PART CLAMP STRUCTURE OF COVERED CABLE AND INTERMEDIATE PART CLAMP METAL FITTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the treatment in a crossing section of cables in a covered cable used in a main rope for anticorrosion as a structural member for support by utilizing an intermediate part clamp structure and an intermediate part clamp metal fitting suitable for the structure without impairing the anticorrosion effect and provide compact formation of a device. SOLUTION: A bare wire core part 2 is formed by peeling a covering at a position of an intermediate part of a covered cable 1, which consists of a metallic cylindrical pipe which can be fitted in the covered cable 1 and has a length corresponding to the bare wire core part 2 and covered terminal parts 3 in contact with both sides thereof. An inside diameter of both end parts 4a which become parts surrounding both covered terminal parts 3 is smaller than an inside diameter of an intermediate part 4b which becomes a part surrounding the bare wire core part 2. An outer covered pipe 4 in which an inner face of the intermediate part 4b is formed into a projecting and recessed face 5 is fitted in peripheries of the bare wire core part 2 and both covered terminal parts 3. A spacer 6 which is formed by a material having lower hardness than that of the outer covered pipe 4 and consists of a vertically split pipe is inserted and provided in a cavity between the outer covered pipe 4 and the bare wire core part 2, and then the outer covered pipe 4 is fixed on the bare wire core part 2 and both covered terminal parts 3 by pressing.
