<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel computer capable of efficiently specifying a node becoming the cause when barrier synchronization is not established. SOLUTION: A node constituting a parallel computer internally has a barrier synchronous state storing means 2 which stores the barrier synchronous states of all nodes connected to the same crossbar as a self-node, a color storing means 3, a barrier synchronization completion storing means 4, a color coincidence display storing means 5 and a color coincidence storing means 6 and is provided with a means which uses these means and specifies the node by narrowing down node candidates that become the cause of the failure when barrier synchronization is not established. Thus, when barrier synchronization is not established, it is possible to efficiently specify a node that becomes the cause of the failure without inquiring all of the nodes constituting the parallel computer.</p> |
