PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a noncrystallineα-olefinic copolymer composition suitable as a modifier, and to obtain a thermoplastic resin composition with good balance between transparency, flexibility, heat sealability and impact resistance. SOLUTION: This noncrystallineα-olefinic copolymer composition comprises (i) 100 pts.wt. of a noncrystallineα-olefinic copolymer containing >=20 mol% of 3-20Cα-olefin-derived component unit and having the following characteristics: (a) any melting peak determined by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) is not substantially observed, (b) the intrinsic viscosity [η] determined in 135 deg.C decalin is 0.01-10 dL/g, and (c) the molecular weight distribution determined by GPC is <=4, and (ii) 0.001-5 pts.wt. of a crystal nucleating agent. The other objective thermoplastic composition comprises the above copolymer composition and a thermoplastic resin. |
