INSTRUMENT FOR INSERTING INTRAOCULAR LENS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for inserting an intraocular lens with which an intraocular lens can be installed at a lens installing part provided on a holding member and the intraocular lens can be easily inserted from a much smaller incised cut into the eye by improving an inserting cylinder. SOLUTION: An inserting cylinder 26 is provided on the top end of a lens installing part 24 where the opening/closing mechanism 23 of a holding member 21 provided at the top end of a main body 33 of instrument is located, an intraocular lens 1 having an optical part 2 deformed to a smaller shape is installed at the installing part 24 and is passed through the inserting cylinder 26 by an extruding rod 36 of an extruding mechanism 34 mounted on the main body 33 of the instrument, and the intraocular lens 1 is inserted from the much smaller incised cut into the eye while deforming the intraocular lens 1 into a much smaller shape by a flat part 26d provided on this cylinder and the sharpened taper of the top end.
