A screw comprising a shank provided with a thread at least on part of its length, and a head provided with a tool drive, wherein at least one shoulder (6) disposed at an axial distance (B) from a bearing face (12) is formed on the head (2) of the screw (1), and this shoulder (6) extends in at least portions radially beyond a portion (7) adjoining the shoulder (6) on the shank side, characterized in that a portion (7) of the head (2) adjoining the shoulder (6) on the shank side is provided as the tool drive (8) formed as an external drive. 2. A screw according to claim 1, characterized in that a portion (7) adjoining the shoulder (6) on the shank side adjoins a disk-shaped part (13) forming the bearing face (12) of the head (2). 3. A screw according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that an additional tool drive (8) is formed on the side of the shoulder (6) remote from the shank (3). 4. A screw according to claim 3, characterized in that an axially protruding portion with an external tool drive is formed on the side of the shoulder (6) remote from the shank (3). 5. A screw according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that, in order to create an axial distance (B) between the shoulder (6) and the bearing face (12) on a workpiece, a washer smaller in diameter than the shoulder (6) is provided and can be inserted noncaptively or captively under the shoulder (6). 6. A screw according to claims 2 and 5, characterized in that the disk-like part (13) is constructed in one piece with the head (2) of the screw (1) or is formed as a washer. 7. A screw according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the shoulder (6) viewed in axial direction of the screw (1) completely masks the shank-side portion (7) containing the tool drive (8), so that the tool drive (8) is disposed completely underneath and inside the outside boundary of the head (2). 8. A screw according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the shoulder (6) and one or more additional, disk-like parts (13) have the same or different size and/or outside contour. 9. A screw according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that an external tool drive is formed on the shoulder (6) itself. 10. A screw according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the tool drive (8) has a polygonal or noncircular cross section. 11. A screw according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a tool drive (8) in the form of recesses and/or raised structures and/or symmetric or asymmetric peripheral contour is provided. 12. A screw according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the shoulder (6) has cylindrical, frustoconical or spherical-sector form. 13. A screw according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that transitions or edges, especially those provided on the exposed end region of the head (2), are rounded. 14. A screw according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the portion (7, 14) provided with the tool drive (8) has an axial length (B) equal to or shorter than the shoulder (6) forming part of the head (2). 15. A screw according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the portion (7, 14) provided with the tool drive (8) has an axial length (B) longer than the shoulder (6) forming part of the head (2). 16. A screw according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a boring part (5) is formed on, attached to or inserted in the end of the shank (3) remote from the head (2). |
