PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the accumulation of foreign matter in the decomposed water trap of a garbage treatment apparatus. SOLUTION: A garbage treatment apparatus is equipped with a decomposition treatment tank 21 for decomposing garbage, a decomposed water discharge passage 27 discharging decomposed water generated in the decomposition treatment tank 21, the decomposed water trap 28 provided to the decomposed water discharge passage 27 and a general drain passage 18 of which the upper end communicates with the drain hole 11 formed to a sink 10 and which discharges general waste water generated by water work. The lower end of the general drain passage 18 communicates with the decomposed water trap 28 and general waste water flows in the decomposed water trap 28 directly to wash off foreign matter accumulated in the decomposed water trap 28. |
