<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a positive charge type toner excellent in anti-smearing and anti-offsetting properties, filming resistance, buildup of initial electrostatic charge and stability of a charged state by incorporating a bonding resin using a vinyl monomer having an acidic group as part of a vinyl monomer, polypropylene wax and polyethylene wax. SOLUTION: This toner contains at least polypropylene wax and polyethylene wax in a bonding resin consisting of a vinyl monomer and an amino monomer and using a vinyl monomer having an acidic group as part of the vinyl monomer. The total wax content is 1-10 pts.wt., preferably 2-7 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. bonding resin. In the case of <1 pt.wt., anti-offsetting and anti-smearing properties deteriorate. In the case of >10 pts.wt., the flowability of the toner deteriorates and filming is liable to occur.</p> |
