PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a powdery cosmetic having light use feeling, strong coloring power with slight variation of coated color with passing of the time by including colored powder and an oil agent. SOLUTION: This powdery cosmetic is obtained by including (A) 1.5-40 wt.% of colored powder selected from iron oxide and tar-based pigment and (B) 1.5-30 wt.% of an oil agent liquid at a normal temperature. Preferably, a weight ratio of the component B to the component A, (B/A) is 0.05-5. Preferably, the cosmetic is a foundation. Preferably, a particle diameter of the component A is 0.005-μm. The component A having hydrophobic-treated surface obtained by using a hydrophobizing treating agent such as an silicone oil can be used. Preferably, the component B is an oil and fat or a silicone oils having <=500 mm2/s viscosity at 20 deg.C. Preferably 1-60 wt.% of globular powder having an average particle diameter of 1-50μm (e.g. globular silica) and/or elastic powder (e.g. crosslinked-type silicone) can be mixed in the whole composition of the cosmetic.
