<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously execute the queuing of plural frames and to continuously transmit cells by individually managing intra-net headers and data in the case of converting a multicast frame into a unicast frame by copying an IP frame in a device and transmitting the unicast frame to plural destinations. SOLUTION: In a forwarding process 6, an intra-net header 10a and data 10b are defined and respective addresses are queued in a queue 7. Packets allowed to be sent are stored in the queue 7 and their addresses are also stored. In the process 6, the intra-net header 10a and the data 10b are individually managed and the data 10b can be shared only by substituting the header 10a, so that continuous transmission can be attained without inserting a null cell between transmitting cells. Since the storing addresses of the intra-net header 10a and the data 10b are separately managed, the queuing of plural frames can be simultaneously executed and plural cells can be continuously transmitted.</p> |
