PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an asphalt viscoelastic damper having a high breakage limit by adhering two support members relatively displaceable through an asphalt viscoelastic body to the asphalt viscoelastic body by use of an isocyanate group-containing diene copolymer as adhesive. SOLUTION: A viscoelastic damper D is formed of two support members 1, 3 and an asphalt viscoelastic body 5 for mutually connecting them, and the two support members 1, 3 are relatively displaceable through the asphalt viscoelastic body 5. In this case, the two support members 1, 3 are adhered to the asphalt viscoelastic body 5 by use of an isocyanate (NCO) group- containing diene polymer as adhesive. The asphalt viscoelastic body means a viscoelastic material mainly composed of asphalt and containing a rubber or resin component, which is excellent in viscoelastic characteristic and inexpensive. As the diene copolymer, at least one of polybutadiene and polyisoprene is preferably used.
