INDUCTION HEATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost, compact induction heating device of simple circuit configuration capable of reducing the loss of a switching element and having certain protecting function. SOLUTION: An induction heating device is of current resonance type including a switching element 13 arranged to be shut off with zero current and is equipped with a self-clamping means to make self-clamping when the inter-end voltage of the switching element 13 is over a specified value and a self-clamping means current sensing means to sense the current flowing in the self-clamping means, and the resultant induction heating device involves low loss and is furnished with certain protecting function by stopping oscillation at the time of self-clamping.
