PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conceal clearances defined between the tip and circumferential surface of a reflector, and between a lens front surface and the circumferential surface of a housing without adding parts in a head lamp for an automobile. SOLUTION: A housing extension 10, which intrudes into a clearance 9 defined between the tip of a reflector 3 and a lens front portion 5a with another clearance 10b remaining with respect to the tip of the reflector 3 and further extends in an extending direction of the reflector 3 toward the lens front portion 5a, is formed at tips of side and lower surfaces inside of a vehicular chamber in a housing 1. A flange-like reflector extension 12, which extends and is bent toward the housing 1 in such a manner as to conceal a clearance 9b between the housing 1 and the reflector 3, is formed at tips of side and upper surfaces outside of the vehicular chamber of the reflector 3. Moreover, a housing step surface 13, which is bent along the reflector extension 12 with a clearance 9c and extends toward the end edge of the reflector extension 12 with a clearance 9d, is formed at tips of side and upper surfaces outside of the vehicular chamber of the housing 1.
