PACKET CONTROL METHOD AND RADIO PACKET COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a useless traffic and a communication waste time from occurring even when the hand-over of a mobile terminal is caused in a communication system where a radio communication system is connected to a packet network via an interworking device. SOLUTION: Upon the occurrence of head-over, a mobile packet terminal (MS) 11 transmits a control packet of an address registration request to a home agent(HA) 6 via an interworking unit (IWF) 52. When a control packet is in existing in a data packet buffer and even when a packet buffer stores a data packet relating to a terminal MS 12 being a control object at present, the IWF 52 extracts the packet in the control packet buffer with priority. Then the control packet quickly passes through the IWF 52 and reaches the HA 6.
