PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a mirror surface from the influence of deformation generated in the abutting part of the elastic member of a rotating polygonal mirror and also to unnecessitate an expensive forming die. SOLUTION: This light deflector is provided with the elastic member 7 energizing the annular rotating polygonal mirror 1 placed on the flange 2 which is freely rotatably supported, toward the flange 2. One end of the elastic member 7, which is the central side section 102 of the rotating polygonal mirror 1, is brought into contact with the vicinity of the line connecting the corner apex 101 to the center 100 of rotation in the rotating polygonal mirror 1 to elastically energize the mirror toward the flange 2. |
