PURPOSE: A multi-channel audio reproduction apparatus for speaker using a virtual sound image controlling a location and a method for the same are provided to move a location of a virtual sound image without changing a filter coefficient. CONSTITUTION: A multi-channel audio reproduction apparatus for speaker using a virtual sound image controlling a location and a method for the same comprises a virtual sound image formation portion(310), a control portion(330), an output location control portion(320), and an adder(340). The virtual sound image formation portion(310) forms a multitude of the first virtual sound image on a three-dimensional space by using a transfer function. The control portion(330) generates control factors for controlling a location of the second virtual sound image. The output location control portion(320) handles the location of the second virtual sound image by controlling the control factors. The adder(340) generates a left and a right audio signal.
