PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the operation of a global movement compensating process which approximates the moving vector field of the entire image with a small number of parameters. SOLUTION: Three representative points are selected, not in corners of an image 601 but at 602, 603, and 604, which have spatially special intervals. Here, P=2α, q=2β, andαandβare positive integers. Then moving vectors at the representative points are interpolated and extrapolated to find a moving vector for global movement compensation. In this case, the arithmetic result of division, when not an integer is rounded into an adjacent integer through the operation and thus the division of an arithmetic expression is all approximated with shift operation instead to simplify and speed up the process. Here, cases of linear interpolation and extrapolation are described, but a case, where four representative points using coprimary interpolation and extrapolation are used, is the same.
|
