railway transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway vehicles but it can be used in mechanical engineering for interference coupling of parts. Device for connecting wheels with wheels axle in railway vehicle has interference mated cylindrical surfaces of one member-wheelset wheels, and other member - axle, grooves with curvilinear generatrices on mated surfaces of one of members to be connected. Depth of grooves is equal to maximum displacement of other mated surfaces under action of elastic deformation in connection. Grooves are made wavy, closed, with crest of waves pointed in opposite directions and swing of each wave not less than width of groove. Grooves are made on enclosing surfaces of wheelset wheel hubs. EFFECT: increased loading capability of wheel-to-wheelset axle connection. 3 dwg
