PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of efficiently mass-producing synthetic natural gas as a new energy source from a synthetic gas. SOLUTION: This apparatus has such a scheme that an anode 48 and a tubular anode 26 are concentrically set up inside housings 14, 16, 18 to provide a plasma reaction chamber 76 therebetween, and the reaction chamber 76 is packed with a methanation catalyst 78 followed by generating plasma arc under power supply between the electrodes to carry out a reaction between CO and H2 by the action of the methanation catalyst to obtain the objective methane- rich gas. |
