<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit data so as to easily fetch required information by changing a data superimposing method corresponding to the importance of information. SOLUTION: With respect to a video data signal outputted from a history information multiplexer for a video decoding system, an encoding parameter equal to or higher than a picture layer, which is highly required in many applications, is converted to an packet and inserted to a V Blanking area, and an encoding parameter equal to or lower than a slice layer, which is not required in all the applications, is converted to the ancillary packet and inserted to an H Blanking area. Then, a video encoding system extracts the ancillary packet superimposed to H Blanking and the ancillary packet super imposed to V Blanking from inputted base band video signal.</p> |
