<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize network resources using a simple operation, whore a prescribed addition amount is added to a reference usage cost by a program change of a small scale only in a passage router D. SOLUTION: This passage router D arranged in the midst of a route L1, being used at present among a plurality of transmission routes from the router I to the router B, reports a changes usage cost which is obtained by adding prescribed cost to the reference usage cost between the adjacent routers, which is common to all the routers in a network, concerning only a specified router (the router B, e.g.) to. The router B, which receives the report of the changed usage cost, rewrites the reference usage cost into the change usage cost. The route with lowest cost is selected according to the rewritten cost. Then a usage route is changed into the route L2 as a result.</p> |
