<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straight fluorescence lamp having no pin terminals and a socket of lighting apparatus that enable to simply and rapidly carry out installation work of fluorescence lamps and decorating board to reduce fatigue of the worker and to avoid danger of fall of the worker from a working stand. SOLUTION: Two pin terminals provided on both ends of fluorescence lamp are abolished, and that portions are changed to a hemispherical, or conical or cylindrical shape of convex portion. One of the changed portions from terminals is disposed at the center of a convex head, the other is disposed apart from the center to form a ring shape. The socket has a surface contacting with the fluorescence lamp that has concave shape to coincide with the convex shape of ends of the fluorescence lamp. One of two contacts required for the socket is disposed at the center of a concave head, the other is disposed apart from the center to form a ring shape.</p> |
