HIGH CARBON STEEL WIRE ROD ROLLING ROLL HAVING GROOVES

摘要

PURPOSE: A high carbon steel wire rod rolling roll having grooves of final two stands is provided which improves roundness of a final product by manufacturing round type and oval type grooves of the final two stands compatibly to steel types during rolling of a high carbon steel material. CONSTITUTION: In a rolling roll having oval type and round type grooves of final two stands in the wire rod rolling process, the wire rod rolling roll is characterized in that a groove radius ratio (Rg/Rl) of the rolling roll having the oval type and round type grooves of the final two stands is 1.50 to 1.52. A wire rod product having superior ovality (standard: 5.5) is effectively manufactured when high carbon steel is produced by optimally setting a radius ratio of oval type and round type grooves of the final two stands of a finishing block mill in a wire rod plant.
