PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder and an image processing device with an improved feeding performance capable of preventing feeding failures and double feeding by directly increasing or decreasing a vertical load without changing basic parameters for an inclined face separation sheet feeding type. SOLUTION: A pressurizing unit 11 is shifted to a position shown by a solid line when a sheet with a small yield strength Pr is carried, so that a flat spring 10 is deflected while maintaining contact with a sheet feed roller arm 7 to provide an elastic force vertically downward to the sheet feed roller arm 7. Thus a sheet feed roller 2b may carry the sheet S with reliability without a slip. It is possible to prevent double feeding of the sheet by shifting the pressurizing unit 11 to a position shown by a dashed line when a sheet with a large yield strength Pr is carried.
