PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder and an ink container in which evaporation of moisture in the ink or deterioration of the ink is prevented even if the ink is subjected to severe conditions after shipment from factory and spilling of the ink or mixing of foreign matter, e.g. dust, can also be prevented. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recorder where an ink container 2 is replaced with a new one when ink runs out and a recording head section 1 fixed to a carriage can be used repeatedly, airtight state at a part interconnecting the inside of the ink container 2 and the atmosphere is released before the recording head section 1 is coupled with the ink container 2. |
