The welding head (1) which has handles (10,11) is supported by a ring bearing (13) attached to a bar (9) through a bearing (14). The bar is suspended from a vertical cable and the welding head is rotatable about longitudinal and transverse axes (X,Y). The rotations made by the manual operator are measured by accelerometers and used to identify the welding site and the required welding sequence comprising current, time and pressure. |
