PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight cellular concrete production process by which the size of cavities occurring on both the upper side and lower side of a reinforcing material arranged inside lightweight cellular concrete can be reduced, and accordingly, the lightweight cellular concrete can efficiently be produced without causing any reduction in product strength and any cavity-like cracks, due to the above cavities. SOLUTION: This production process comprises: adding water to a main raw material mixture consisting of a siliceous raw material, a calcareous raw material, gypsum and a gas generating agent; placing the resulting mix in a form inside which a reinforcing material is arranged to form a semi-hardened body; and subjecting the semi-hardened body to high-temperature and high- pressure steam curing wherein as the gas generating agent, a mixed powder consisting of a dry-pulverized metal aluminum powder and a wet-pulverized metal aluminum powder is used. |
