<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the partiality of a process waiting JOB after an alternate process, to prevent the completion time of all JOBs from being delayed greatly behind the logical time, and to greatly shorten the alternate operation time. SOLUTION: If a fault occurs to a line processor, the CPU 10 of a sale data management device 1 calculates the remaining JOBs (number of devices) of a line control part of the line processor to which the fault has occurred, further calculates the remaining JOBs (number of devices) of the line control part of a line processor in operation, and calculates an alternation mean number from them, thereby allocating (alternating) the remaining JOBs of the line control part of the faulty line processor to the line control part of the line processor in operation according to the alteration mean number.</p> |
