The free end of the rod 4 is rod of the depth gauge, and back end face of the frame 1 is base of the depth gauge. The measuring surfaces of the depth gauge are end face surfaces of the frame and rod. The dial of the rod is graduated from right to left and in addition has auxiliary dial 5 placed from the right side from the zero index of the basic dial 2. The vernier dial is graduated from right to left. EFFECT: reduced size of the depth gauge, enhanced convenience of usage. 3 cl, 1 dwg
