PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heating device to be used for an automobile capable of obtaining a uniform air discharging temperature and preventing efficiency of the heating device from lowering even when low temperature air flows into the device. SOLUTION: A structure unit is formed by combining a plurality of heating elements 2 piled up so as to form a heating block with a control device. Therefore, the control device is stored within side part bars 4 and 5 of a frame for integrally holding the heating elements 2. Air to be heated flows in a window 7 provided with in the side part bars 4 and 5 together with the heating block and passes a cooling element 6 connected to each of electronic parts for power of the control device and arranged adjacently to the window 7.
