PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism to mount a filter for air to lead into the transmission case of the unit swing engine of a motorcycle to the transmission case, and to simplify its mounting. SOLUTION: In this unit swing engine wherein a supporting shaft 61 for a gear to be driven to drive the crank shaft 22 of a kick shaft 65 is provided on the transmission case cover, the window part 83 of the transmission case cover to lead the outside air into a transmission case 14, a filter 84 to cover the window part, and a cap 85 with a window 85b to support the filter are provided, and the filter is held between the cap and the transmission case cover by threading a screw 86 in a screw hole on the end surface of the supporting shaft 61. |
