PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner with which blowing capacity and outward appearance are prevented from being impaired by correcting warpages of a pair of wind guide plates made by molding resin and provided on an upper part of a body to form an outlet, keeping the plates from sight and making installation to a mounting plate of a blower fan easy, so as to prevent the center of the plates from shifting from the center of the fan. SOLUTION: A fan guard is provided on an upper part of the wind guide plate 3. A joining part A provided with a mounting section 3c formed in an approximately square frame shape and having through-holes 3b provided on a lower part of the plate 3 for separably joining adjoining lower side faces of the mounting sections and a shielding part B for shielding the adjoining front face and rear face of the mounting sections from one another are provided. The joining parts A are joined, and the front face and the rear face are covered from one another with the shielding part B. The wind guide plate is attached detachably to a first fixture, and a second fixture, provided on an upper part of the heat exchanger with screws inserted in the through-holes of the mounting unit with the fan 12 which is housed. |
