PURPOSE: Drain pan structure of a ceiling mounted duct type air conditioner is provided to prevent condensate water from flowing into the air conditioner or from leaking by flowing condensate from a first drain pan to a second drain pan with forming double drain pans, and to check abnormality of the air conditioner by detecting condensate flowing from the first drain pan to the second drain pan. CONSTITUTION: A ceiling mounted duct type air conditioner is composed of a body connecting a suction duct and a discharge duct; a blower(4) blowing air; a heat exchanger(6) heating or cooling air from the suction duct; and a drain pan collecting condensate water from the heat exchanger. The drain pan consists of a first drain pan(8) connected to a first drain pipe to insert the lower part of the heat exchanger and drain condensate water by collecting, and a second drain pan(10) installed in the lower part of the first drain pan to collect condensate from the first drain pan and connected to a second drain pipe discharging condensate. Condensate water is drained through the first drain port by collecting in the first drain pan, and discharged with collecting condensate water from the first drain pan. Condensate is prevented from overflowing or leaking with the double drain pan, and the stability is improved with checking the state of the drain system. |
