PURPOSE: A method for detecting frequency reuse efficiency of a WLL(Wireless Local Loop) system is provided to consider subscribers using omni-directional antennas and subscribers using directional antennas, when the subscribers using the omni-directional antennas and the directional antennas exist simultaneously in the WLL system, so as to correctly detect the frequency reuse efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A base station detects a command of measuring frequency reuse efficiency(211). The base station converts a mode to a frequency reuse efficiency measuring mode(213). The base station detects frequency reuse efficiency in case all subscribers use omni-directional antennas(215). The base station detects frequency reuse efficiency in case all subscribers use directional antennas(217). The base station calculates a ratio of subscribers using omni-directional antennas to subscribers using directional antennas(219). The base station detects a receive signal strength for the subscribers using the omni-directional antennas(221). The base station detects a receive signal strength for the subscribers using the directional antennas(223). The base station detects a thermal noise floor of a base station receiver(225). The base station detects a total receive signal strength(227). And the base station detects frequency reuse efficiency(229).
