PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an apparatus for regulating the temperature of automatic transmission fluid(ATF) and to increase its efficiency. SOLUTION: A special heat accumulator 44 is provided in a bypass line 42 branching from an ATF line 38. The heat accumulator 44 comprises a plurality of branch passages 44a covered on their outsides with a layer of high heat capacity material 46, which is in turn covered with a heat insulating member 44b on the outside. The high heat capacity material having a greater heat capacity than a material for using cooling water is usable, whereby the apparatus can be miniaturized and appropriate heat transfer can be performed efficiently.
