PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for shifting a portable welding gun to a robot-welding gun. SOLUTION: An equalizer unit 1 is removably mounted on a hand 2 of an industrial robot, and a portable gun is removably assembled into the equalizer unit 1, through which the portable gun is made available in both use, a portable gun or a robot gun that requires the equalizer function.
