PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the accurate pushing of a plurality of function switches even while using the display in the night by performing appropriate brilliance control in either use condition of day or night, with respect to a liquid crystal display provided with an input device. SOLUTION: At least, a light source for illuminating the liquid crystal display itself and one or more light-emitting switches for receiving a key operation are arranged. When brilliance is adjusted with a switch, an inverter circuit and the brilliance of a light-emitting switch are jointly controlled on the basis of the signal of a control circuit. Thereby, even if the surrounding illuminance changes widely, the display can provide optimum brilliance. |
