PURPOSE: A method and a material for protecting alveolar ridge are provided to eliminate the wearisome of bone graft operation by retaining the original root form of the alveolar ridge, thus implanting in patient's good time and retains the face appearance good. CONSTITUTION: In order to maintain a configuration of an alveolar bone, a titanium body(TB) which is formed to have a contour similar to a dental root of a natural tooth is inserted into a vacancy which is defined by tooth extraction. The titanium body, divided into at least two segments including an upper titanium segment body mechanically coupled with an implantation post of a lower titanium segment body, can be selectively embedded into the alveolar bone or projected out of a gum. Titanium mesh containing bone graft materials can be filled the vacancy to protect the alveolar ridge so as to remain as a solid fills in alveolar ridge bone.
