PURPOSE: A device and method for transmitting contents using a mobile terminal is provided to enable a user to receive multimedia or contents having a broad frequency band at a wanted place using a mobile communication system of an IS-95C based technique. CONSTITUTION: Multimedia contents are photographed using a photograph unit(S100). The multimedia contents data are divided into a plurality of packets using a distribution unit(S110). The divided packets are transmitted to a destination as the corresponding control signal using a plurality of corresponding mobile terminals(S120). The multimedia signal packet and transmitted from the transmission mobile terminals is received by a mobile communication system applied by an IS-95C based technique and a mobile IP based technique and stored in a storing unit and processes the corresponding data for displaying a transmission destination and calls and transmits a receiving mobile terminal(S130). The picketed multimedia content signal is arranged by each packet order and recorded and stored in the corresponding recording medium on condition that the signal is recovered by a streaming technique(S140). The recorded and stored multimedia content data are edited by a broadcasting unit, and broadcasting is performed through a wire Internet or wireless(S150).
